1st 7 days of February!
Hellooooooo! How are you all getting on? We are loving seeing all the different interpretations and isn't it amazing what you can do on such a small scale? If you are just thinking of joining don't worry as this isn't a race. The prompts will be on the FB page all year.

February - Golden
Hellooooo, it's February already! How are you all getting on with the prompts? I hope you are enjoying them as much as we enjoy seeing all your take on them.
As its a new month it's also time for a new book and I have used the monthly theme GOLDEN as inspiration. This little book is so golden it glows hahaha!
I painted all the substrates using *METALLIC GOLD*. Unlike most gold acrylics this one goes on in one coat, I didn't even need to use gesso!!!!! Magic!!!!! Over the top of the cover and on one side of each of the folders I embossed a background pattern in gold. On the other sides I embossed the same pattern in cream to match the heart. Had to have a * HEART* as its February!
I had some gold metallic embroidery thread that I was going to use but it kept knotting so I used cream instead.
